gentle and removes makeup
Such a great cleanser! Easy to remove makeup and is safe for eyelash extensions.
I purchased this cleanser on a whim and then it sat, unopened on a shelf in my closet for months. Recently I was experiencing irritation after starting a prescription retinoid, and needed to pair back my routine to just basic and gentle products wherever I could. So I tried this cleanser (I previously had used is Clinical Cleansing Complex for about 7 years, which is a great cleanser, but has fragrance and salicylic acid, two ingredients I wanted to avoid for a while). And, to my pleasant surprise, this cleanser is lovely. It's very gentle, non-irritating, but somehow manages to get my 20% zinc oxide sunscreen off my face at the end of the day with just one pump (?!). That kind blew my mind. I use 1/2 a pump in the AM, 1 full pump in the PM. It lathers nicely (lots of bubbles and suds). Downside: I didn't love the soap-y scent at first (but I've grown used to it and now it doesn't bother me), and I've somehow got the bubbles in my eyes on numerous occasions and it realllly stings (not a problem I've had with other facial cleansers, I think it keeps happening because of the copious amounts of suds produced). Otherwise, this product is truly great! I love that is has a pump, and travel size option. 4.5 stars
an okay cleanser, it gets the job done and does well on my skin type
Best cleansing gel ever! I use it as my first cleanse and it is so good it removes all sunscreen, build up without leaving the skin dry. It is very effective and gentle at the same time. I have very sensitive skin and this has been a great addition to my skincare routine.
I love using this before my makeup.
