Mandelic Acid is gentler than glycolic and less drying than salicylic. It’s a great in-between option—offering exfoliation and antibacterial action with a lower risk of irritation or post-inflammatory pigmentation.
You don’t have to, but it’s best to space out other exfoliants like toners or serums to avoid over-exfoliation. Use Idyllic Cleanser as your main active in the morning or evening, and adjust as needed based on your full routine.
